Our designers can offer several alternatives to give you a fresh update that is within your budget. We also offer remodeling services to accomodate ADA modifications, including roll-in showers, grab bars and ramps. Energy Efficient Home Improvements

The federal government is now offering tax credits up to $1500 when you purchase and install energy saving and energy efficient products in your home. HSGroup specialists have the training to identify the upgrades that qualify for the tax credits. Making these changes have the added benefit of an immediate savings on your monthly utility bills. Our high quality vinyl Low-E replacement windows can reduce your energy use by as much as 25%. Another 20% energy savings can be realized by simply upgrading your attic insulation to R-38 and installing a radiant barrier. These are energy dollars that truly “go out the window and through the roof” every month of every year. That is why the federal government is willing to help pay to stop this wasting of energy and your cash. You can take advantage of the Federal program until Dec. 31, 2010. We have many years experience designing and building additional space that never looks like it is an “add on.” Our goal is to make the addition look like it has always been there. We can provide a trained professional designer or architect to create your new room or will work with the professional of your choice. From the foundation to the installation of the roof, our project manager supervises the project from start to finish. We offer a full-service team to help make selections from tile and flooring to paint and trim. Our clients are never just “turned out” or left to make these decisions on their own. Crawlspace Moisture Control

There are three components that destroy traditional housing materials in general, and wood in particular: water, heat and UV radiation. Of these, water is by far the most damaging. Therefore; an unsealed dirt crawl space is a very bad idea, especially in the southeast United States. Naturally high humidity in the earth's soil provides the perfect opportunity for water vapor to move easily into the crawl space and upwards into the house environment. A damp environment is unhealthy and potentially destructive. Mold thrives and reproduces airborne spores by the millions in warm, damp places. Some molds are allergens and a few are toxic. Insects and critters of all kinds love damp environments which encourage rot and decay of structural components. The natural airflow in a house is from bottom to top just like a chimney. This natural flow pulls the moist air and everything in it up into the living areas of the home. Fully 50% of the air in the main living area comes from the crawlspace. We can stop most of the moisture coming from the earth with our CleanSpace® Crawlspace Encapsulation System. Our trained installers will seal the foundation walls and dirt floor with a 20 mil thick polyethylene liner that will virtually stop the migration of moisture, odors and help control radon from the earth. In extreme situations we can install water control equipment (sump pumps) to prevent flooding and excessive water in the crawlspace.
